via the Rhine River Valley to our deluxe Hotel Le Royale in Luxembourg.
Afternoon free to relax. Dinner with the group. Overnight in Luxembourg.
Tuesday, October
14, 2003
Morning guided sightseeing in Luxembourg
city, with former Ambassador John E. Dolibois as our host as we walk in
the historic section of the city. Afternoon guided tour to Vianden
Chateau. Dinner with MUDEC staff in Differdange. Overnight in
Luxembourg.
Wednesday, October
15, 2003
A free morning and afternoon in Luxembourg to see old friends or
relax in familiar surroundings. Dinner on your own. Evening convocation
including: address by Ambassador Dolibois, attendance by Grand Duke Henri,
and reception in honor of 35 years of educational achievement in
Luxembourg. Overnight in Luxembourg.
Thursday, October
16, 2003
Morning guided touring by motor coach and lunch in northern
Luxembourg. Dinner with the group, prior to an evening concert by the
Klemperer Trio, including Miami Provost Ronald Crutcher. Overnight in
Luxembourg.
Friday, October
17, 2003
Morning lecture on developments in the
European Union by Emile Haag and guided touring in southern Luxembourg.
Afternoon free in Luxembourg. Late afternoon reception for our group at
the United States Embassy in Luxembourg, prior to our attendance at the
MUDEC gala dinner dance. Overnight in Luxembourg.
Saturday, October
18, 2003
Morning transfer by motor coach to Mainz, Germany. Afternoon
visit to the Guttenburg Museum in Mainz and free time to walk in this
historic German city center. Dinner and overnight at the Hilton
International Hotel in Mainz.
Sunday, October
19, 2003
Morning transfer to Frankfurt
International Airport for Delta flight #49 to Cincinnati. Our tour is
ended.
Flight arrangements have been made through Travel
Unlimited, Oxford, Ohio. They will be pleased to arrange connecting flights
from your home town or participants are free to arrange their own convenient
flights to Europe and meet our tour group in Luxembourg, or the Frankfurt
Airport. Land arrangements in Europe are made by Teckman Enterprises, Inc.
A complete daily itinerary will be
available later to all participants, and alternative itineraries and hotels
are possible for persons who require adjusted schedules.
