Tour in Europe
2002
The Office of
Continuing Education and the Institute for Learning in Retirement join with
Charles and Joan Teckman to invite you to an “elderhostel style” tour of
Europe. We will fly U.S. Airways from Dayton, Ohio, via Pittsburgh to
Frankfurt, Germany, and return from Paris, France, via Pittsburgh to Dayton.
Our European tour will include: Luxembourg; a visit to Trier, Germany;
touring in Belgium in the unique Flemish town of Brugge; visits to historic
D-Day sites in Normandy, France; and two days in Paris and Versailles. This
elderhostel style tour will feature expert commentary about the history,
geography and culture of areas from local experts. The charm and history of
each region will be enhanced by the warm and friendly people we will visit.
You will experience a very enjoyable educational experience.
